Scott McCarthy

Prior to joining Post Oak Energy Capital as a Senior Advisor, Mr. McCarthy was the CEO of PetroEdge Energy IV (sponsored by Post Oak Energy Capital) and managed the Eagle Ford assets for two other Post Oak Eagle Ford based portfolio companies.  In combination, Mr. McCarthy and his team managed 60,000 plus acres and production.

Before joining PetroEdge, Mr. McCarthy was Director of Engineering for Calfrac Well Services, improving the technical capabilities and building a world class engineering team, COO for a private E&P that drilled conventional and unconventional wells throughout Texas and Mississippi and VP of Production for Lewis Energy, where he completed over 500 horizontal Eagle Ford and Escondido wells.

Earlier positions included senior engineering roles with both operators and service companies in most of the US Basins along with GOM shelf and deepwater.  Mr. McCarthy graduated from Texas A&I University with a degree in Natural Gas Engineering.
